  • Hwy # 1 Colquitz bridges 2026 – April update

E-bike rental    District of Saanich and Evolve’s new e-bike pay-per-minute or monthly plan system. Fifty Evolve e-bikes have been distributed throughout the District along primary trail networks and community hubs. The e-bikes are pedal-assisted, meaning the bikes work with the rider; the electric motor only kicks in when the rider pedals. The bikes do not exceed 25km/h, and will automatically slow down in designated ‘slow zones’. Currently, there are no drop off places in Victoria.
