&nbsp;           District of Saanich and Evolve\u2019s new e-bike pay-per-minute or monthly plan system. Fifty Evolve e-bikes have been distributed throughout the District along primary trail networks and community hubs. The e-bikes are pedal-assisted, meaning the bikes work with the rider; the electric motor only kicks in when the rider pedals. The bikes do not exceed 25km\/h, and will automatically slow down in designated \u2018slow zones\u2019.
